Application Process

Applications to study in a postgraduate programme can be made anytime of the year and will be processed as and when all of the relevant documents are received. Admissions are ongoing basis for each year and divided into 2 semesters which is on March to September and September to March.

Application can be made via online (strongly advice) at Centre for Graduate Studies (CGS) and prospective candidates should also mail copies of supporting documents to CGS. All applications are subject to the approval by Faculty Postgraduate Committee and University.

An offer letter for postgraduate study in UNIMAS is valid for one calendar year from the date of offer. A candidate accepted for postgraduate study but who has not yet registered may choose to defer his/her study for a further one (1) calendar year by writing to the Dean of the Centre for Graduate Studies for approval.

Academic Year

The academic year is divided into two (2) semesters. Semester I is from September to Mac, Semester II is from Mac to September. Postgraduate students are required to register their candidacy at the beginning of each semester.
