MFF 2015

MFF 2015

Mini Film Festival is an annual students' film festival organised by the Cinematography Programme, Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. This ever growing film festival marked its 10th anniversary last year, and it is now stepping into the 11th year with the supports of many.

Organised with the aims to recognise and encourage filmmaking among youths as well as to inculcate the love for cinema, the 11th Mini Film Festival committee strives their very best to bring series of film related events such as outdoor film screenings (Duduk Dan Tonton) and talks by special guests hailed as far as Kuala Lumpur and Japan.

"The Future of Cinema" is selected as this year's 11th Mini Film Festival's theme in order to put up hope for a better cinema which may see many exciting film related activities, innonations and creativity expansions marked by the digital age. By having said that, instead of abandoning the past, this film festival aims to both embrace and celebrate the ever enrinching cinematic scenes in the past, now and ever after.
