My area of interest is in fish taxonomy and systematics. My research activity includes using both morphological and molecular markers for assessment of genetic variation and evolution of a species. These data could be used in precise taxonomic identification and further planning any conservation and management programed of wild and cultured fish or aquatic organism.

Besides the main area mentioned above, I am also interested in doing research on the ecology and biology of fish and other aquatic organisms.
